I 1950 cheap bord Chóras Iompair Éireann (CIÉ) Oilibhéar Bulleid mar Phríomh-Innealtóir Meicniúla. Ní raibh deis ag Bulleid, a raibh cáil air mar dhearthóir ar na hinnill shainiúla de chuid an Chabhlaigh Cheannaíochta agus an Aigéin Chiúin Éadrom le linn a thréimhse in Iarnród an Deiscirt i Sasana, dul i mbun a chuid nuálaíoch finscéalach chomh mór céanna in Éirinn, ach mar sin féin ba chúis le tréimhse nuachóirithe dá theacht. agus caighdeánú.

Seachas an t-aistriú iomlán go cumhacht ghluaiste díosail a chur i bhfeidhm, chuir sé tús freisin le cabhlach CIÉ de rothra a chaighdeánú agus a fho-fhráma triantánach paitinnithe ag soláthar an bonn.

B’fhéidir gurbh é an vaigín oscailte humble lena corp miotail brúite ghalbhánuithe an ceann is mó aitheanta de na feithiclí earraí. Tógadh níos mó ná 2,500 ag Inse Chór idir 1956 agus 1969, agus bhí suas le dáréag á shiopadóireacht in aghaidh na seachtaine nuair a bhí an táirgeadh ar airde.

Beet traffic

Very detailed wagon. Runs well. Good weight on the floor. It would have been good if a simulated load of beet had been fitted similar to the gypsum and ballast wagons from a few tears ago.
