A top notch model with excellent detail. The colour in the flesh is more tannish than a bright yellow but a very appealing livery - one I was not previously familiar with but it gives a nice contrast against the orange black. Test runs have been very smooth. Overall very impressed, I bought additional variants after receiving this one. 5 stars

A12 - A Class Locomotive - Black with Yellow

Stunningly detailed model in a classic CIE livery. Excellent prompt delivery service. Looking forward to the Crossley DCC sound decoder to go with it when available.

I never thought that such an incredibly detailed and quality laden model would be produced for Irish customers. These A class models are the benchmark that any other manufacturer will now need to achieve or risk being seen as inferior value for money. Congratulations to IRM for outstanding attention to detail. I very much look forward to any future releases.

A12 - A Class Locomotive - Black with Yellow

I will revert when I've had a chance to run my A12 loco but what I have seen so far in terms of presentation and packaging and the model itself, is in my opinion really excellent. I cannot claim to have ever driven an A Class Metrovick loco but did once have a short turn at the controls of a AR locomotive many years ago in Sligo, and have walked through the engine compartment of a B201 class, which had just arrived with the Saturday early afternoon down train from Dublin. For the IRM Crossley era models, I look forward to a Crossley engine sound package becoming available in the future.

After being delighted with my A15, I immediately put an order in for the A12. Not disappointed she’s a beauty.
