JSA Coil Carrier

Introduced in 1996, the first batch of JSA Steel Coil carrying wagons were conversions for British Steel, using chassis from the PTA Aggregate Wagons. Featuring steel plate telescopic hoods, these wagons carried Steel Coils from plants to docks. Rebuilt from 2003/4 with Aluminium hoods the wagons saw service until 2018, when they had their hoods removed and were refitted as Open Coil Carriers.
